I've been a lurker on and off over the years... I must of been under a rock, because I did not know LaurieZ had passed. She had a tremendous influence on me. She was the only person who told me the truth about some music I recorded (it sucked) and sent to her. After her critique, I started really thinking about what she said and came up with the following songs.

Keyboard Mag did an article on arranger keyboards for the month of April. All of these songs were created using 1 keyboard, Ketron SD1 and a Zoom DAW... I am a former demo guy for Ketron...

All vocal harmony done with vocal harmony kit on keyboard.

Nice tune and very good production . A few questions .

 

The vocal effects are from Live 2.0 ? Is that you singing ? and how about the harmony's ? easy to add ?

Nice tune . I liked the addition of the strings . Did you try any brass sounds at that same part of the song ? All in all I liked it .

Hello to all,

Dano piping in ...37 yrs.old married (15yrs) 2 kids 7 & 9 . Live outside of Baltimore MAryland . I played baritone horn in grade school thru high school . I was singing in a band by the age of 14 . I started playing keys . I think "Colour my world " was my 1st song .

I have worked in music retail for the last 14 yrs. Work for Guitar Center (manage keyboard dept.) currently . I also demostrate keyboards for Italian Co. called Ketron for the last 4 yrs at NAMM shows . Met S.Wonder a few times . Consider (drummer) R.Lawson a friend and customer. I am PC based with Sonar / Cubase software . Play at Church and Jam with friends . I have Yamaha S80 / Ketron X1 hdv and soon to have Ketron SD1 . Over and out ..... Dano
