I'm called Dave Schuler. I've played keys since I was 10, and I'm going on 43 now. Gigged full time 'til I was 33. Then I went to school to major in Electrical and Computer Engineering and minor in music, math and computer science. Now I work for Intel Corp as a Hardware Applications Engineer. Still gig on weekends as often as I can.
Just bought my first "real" piano, a used Kawai 52" studio model, and I absolutely love it. No electronic keyboard I've ever played can touch it in terms of expressiveness. I gig with a Korg N1 and an old, one-eyed Ensoniq EPS. I keep my old Roland Jupiter 8 and Kurzweil K1000 at home. I use a Roland VS880-EX and Sonar for recording.
Love to play jazz. Like to play anything that entertains people.
I'm glad I found this place.
