    • I might try that at your place. Chance we are heading past soon. I'll contact you off stage.
    • warning: Not a Henley fan…   Have been watching Henley’s and his teams actions surrounding “his” music, I am both in awe of someone’s creative fortitude yet left with a bad feeling when it comes to legacy of that creation.   The very public actions he and his “team” have taken over the years, especially since online streaming platforms have blossomed, looms a lot like patent troll behavior from someone stuck in a paradigm of win/lose instead of win/win. Removing and content striking EVERY video which infringes on HIS copyright is missing the boat! Can’t even publish an appreciation of HIS music online without it getting struck!!!   He and his music could be appreciated and generate even more fame and money for all those interested… heck HIS music might even inspire someone if they weren't so fearful of getting sued out of existence for doing exactly what Henley and all other artist have done…   steal from others, then claim it   While my artistic creativity is hopefully an invitation for others to take from as I take from them as well, its an exchange. I do recognize the need to feed ourselves with our creativity, and so how to build non momentary structures for music to thrive in?   Henley’s creations are HIS, if that’s all he see’s in them, a means to money. It certainly feels like that for the lawyers involved… copyrights and patents are no longer about protecting the artist as much as protecting the industry which profits from the artists!   PEACE _ _ _
    • It's possible I have an unjust prejudice against scotch tape, based on the original scotch tape, which didn't bend easily.   Maybe I should give magic tape another try.    How does it stand up over time? One thing about artist's tape is that if you need to re-do something, you can get it off without wrecking the paper, if you're careful.
    • Interesting you talking about semi weighted for piano right now. I'm sitting here reading the forum, playing some nice Sptifire Audio Pianobook pianos on my Korg Keystage controller, and absolutely delighted with the synth action for piano. I'm now wishing they'd make an 88 key version, as it really ticks a lot of boxes for me, including being a Montage M6x with the polyphonic aftertouch👍
    • I've seen "artist's tape" recommended by transcribers, music librarians etc for this purpose.   Cheers, Mike.

    • This doesn't really affect me (yet) thanks to how and what I play.  But that said, I completely, 100% agree that these fixed split points are unacceptable.  The idea that the most expensive, capable, best sounding board of its kind, restricts players to preset split points is simply impossible for me to understand.  Is there any other board that does this?  I mean, I guess it'd be sort of OK if there were only one key that people play in.  But obviously that's not the case!
    • Yes, that will give you the same sound.
    • Can you manually push that drawbar in when percussion is engaged and get the same effect as a workaround? (non-Nord guy question)
