  1. I am SO glad it wasn't just me doing this...lol. Sneaking a P08 past your wife...got rope and blindfolds? Or perhaps she wants the kitchen remodelled or some new appliances? Letting her loose in the mall also works...
  2. I am sure you might have had some identity issues from all the attention from BOTH sexes..lol. I remember a band named RAIN playing funk and R&B coming to my HS for one of our Saturday night live parties (I went to baording school). The lead singer was GORGEOUS, the older sister of one of my senior mentors-boobs and ass forever-a living wet dream for any HSchooler, right? Wrong. That is all I remember. But the keyboard player? His name was Mo Washington...he was playing a Rhodes, JP-8 AND a Minimoog. I couldn't take my eyes off his rig from all the sounds those synths were making . Luckily, the only consequence from exposure to such things was an early development of G.A.S. that I still suffer from ...
  3. That was my first synth, too. I even sold it once and then bought it back becasue I missed it so much. The guy made $100 on the deal but I didn't care...lol. I wanted it back.
  4. I still own my Juno-6...it's the greatest. I run mine thru a Vox Tonelab...
  5. I'm listening wondering what the Yellowjackets and Russell Ferrante are doing on Dave Ferris' Myspace page ...
  6. I am an old new member, newly minted to the 40-year Old club on August 20th. been playing for about 20 years and consider myself semi-professional since I don't do music full-time. So this is a reintroduction of sorts. Ive been here on the forum for a few years now (since pre-2001) and Ive been to a few events and met a few folks, but disappeared off this internet scene for a minute to pursue music and life. Two minute drill: Civil Engineer by profession with a MBA in Marketing. Music money is slow money, so I got my 9-to-5 to pay the bills and 5-to-9 is spent running the city and country musically. I am a musician/producer that gigs regularly as well to keep the creative juices flowing. I own a small music production studio based around Digital Performer 5.12 and two MOTU 828 mkII's (I could list the equipment all day, but my main gigging rig is a Motif 7, Roland XP-30 and Korg Triton Rack thru a Roland KC-350). My company also offers event management services in Philly. One event we produce of note is the largest outdoor gospel music event in the city-the Philadelphia Urban Christian Music festival, otherwise known as the Philadelphia Gospelfest. This year it was held on June 29 to July 1st, with over 41 artists over three days, including a Jazz and Classical music brunch. In its 8th year, we had an estimated 15,000 people attend (thanks to a partnership with the City of Philadelphia). And my G.A.S has NOT gone away. Just went to Guitar Center on Sunday and put the Korg R3 on layaway till next week...
