  1. I feel kind of behind the times on this one but I'll share my not so new pedal. It would have to be the Dinsortion Micro I picked up a month ago. I am not really a fuzz guy, but I can't stop playing through this one. I just dig it.
  2. I enjoyed "Eyes" and would agree has a definite 90s vibe. Great tune, I like the kind of melancholy vibe. Really good song.
  3. I use mainly solid state stuff live and use pedals for tone except for larger gigs. So mainly with small stuff or in orchestral settings it's my pedal board into an old Bandit 75 on the clean channel. Larger show it's a silver stripe Special 130. I might use it clean, and go with my ADA rack setup (ADA Mp-1,old Alesis Quadraverb), or I might just use my old Ibanez PT-5 in the effects loop for delays and modulation and just use the three channels from the amp (set properly, they really are very good), or I might use said pedal board. Just depends. On REALLY big shows I will use a 212 extension cab, and put the old "75" on the other side of the stage and have the sound guy pan the amps so that the ping pongs are noticeable out front from my delays. I keep the tube stuff at home. Too expensive, too temperamental, and too hard to replace on my meager salary.
  4. We got asked never to come back to one in particular in high school because we played Lizzie Borden's Master of Disguise. It scared many young children and the ran off under the arms of their parents crying. My how times have changed.
  5. I am using a Mac Mini and have been since 2012. So far I have used it without issue.
  6. I miss the 80s at times since it is the era that I grew up in. Then I hear a story like this and remember the 80s without the rose colored glasses. I used to laugh when three or four guys would be trying to outshred one another and would either keep turning up, or playing faster and faster. It was the musical equivalent to the guy who gets on the treadmill next to you at the gym and keeps upping his speed and looking at you like you're in a race. I would be willing to be THAT guy was the one who plugged in next to me with the Kramer Baretta back in 1986. Yep. I'm pretty sure that was him.
  7. New to the forum. Here's a link to an instrumental shred ep I did a few years ago. Working on remodeling the studio right now, so it's gonna be a minute before I lay anything down. So for now..... https://acadams.bandcamp.com/releases
  8. The Nova Delay is my first and last TC product. I only wish that I had found this post BEFORE I spent the dough. It truly is garbage.
  9. Hello everyone. I'm new to the forum, but have a bad experience with tc as well. Two years ago, I got a Nova Delay. The first problem I experienced was getting it off of the global setting so that I could have all nine presets. The FIRST place that I tried to get some instructions aside from the manual was with TC customer support. I never actually heard from anyone at tc after emailing them. I finally found the instructions in a place that had nothing to do with nothing. So now, two years later, it isn't holding presets. It automatically is on 1536 milliseconds. When I turn on the preset mode, which SHOULD bring up the first preset, it is still 1536 milliseconds. I am not going through what is described in all of these posts. It is coming off of my board. Like many people who were around gigging/playing in the 80s, I too thought of TC Electronic as a sort of boutique brand BEFORE there was such a thing. At the time the Chorus/Flanger was VERY expensive, VERY highly rated/praised among the playing community, and known for reliability. It is a shame that they have taken the direction they have. There is NO way between seeing REALISTIC user experiences along with my personal experience of having an expensive delay pedal die after two yrs., that I will ever use a tc product. I will also never recommend their product. Even though I would live to have an old Chorys/Flanger, there is no way that I would pimp their product by way of having their product on my board period.
