  1. Thanks for the feedback and kind offer. I"m definitely tempted. Does your P-2 have the onboard Vent? If so, what are your thoughts? (I"m unlikely to add a real Leslie.)
  2. Obviously not at the moment. This is what Mr. Uhl is writing on his website (translated from German): "Info: We sell only within Europe! We take care of our customers directly within Europe, which guarantees a perfect service. Outside Europe, this is unfortunately not satisfactory for us. At the moment we do not want to set up a worldwide dealer and service network." Thanks for the info. I also learned today that Diversi is no longer selling Mag in the U.S. All Mag organs must be purchased directly from Mag in Czech Republic. ð¤
  3. Thanks for the console organ recommendations. But I"m inclined to get a portable dual manual first so I can gig with it and perhaps add pedalboard later, if I decide to learn to kick.
  4. they are back since some time now ... UHL X4 v1 and v2 fly off the shelf like hot cakes. 1st batch they offered was almost sold out by pre-orders. The organ comes w/ latest HX3 and a Neo Vent II build in. I dunno why they don´t have an english language site meanwhile UHL Instruments Anyway,- go and listen to all the demos incl. the new ones w/ the X4 in action. Next batch is in the works and comes soon (october I think) ... Dunno how many are pre-ordered. the price for a single manual model (X4-1) is steep ´cause it has the same features/engine than the dual manual version. It seems better buying the dual manual version (X4-2),- maybe together w/ ATA case (sold separately). A.C. So is there anywhere in the U.S. to buy a Uhl? I know that Mag uses Diversi as U.S. distributor. Any such relationship for Uhl?
  5. I"m looking to buy a quality portable dual manual organ for blues and rock and have become fascinated with HX3-based clones like Uhl x4-2 and Mag C2. As mentioned in another thread, I"m a pretty decent blues piano player who"s decided to learn organ. ð³ My concern with Uhl or Mag is that they seem to be quite rare here in the U.S. and may be problematic if they require service or support. Am I crazy for considering these? Obviously, it"s nerve wracking to potentially pay big bucks for an instrument I"ve never auditioned. But here in KC I don"t have access to any of the likely alternatives either (Viscount, Mojo, Hammond, etc.), so whatever I buy, it will likely be sight unseen. That said, any feedback or experiences with the Mag or Uhl rigs would be appreciated. Or if you think there are better alternatives I"m all ears.
  6. This thread is ð¥ð¥ð¥. Thanks so much for the valuable input. Can"t wait to put it into practice.
  7. Tremendous feedback so far! Thanks so much and keep it coming! Honestly, I"m not entirely certain what my end game is. But I do know I love blues and blues-rock organ and would love to be able to hold my own with a band on a dual manual organ.
  8. Hey guys! New to the forum but finding lots of great info here. Question....any tips or guidance for a decent blues, jazz, rock pianist trying to learn how to play organ? I"ve always been able to fake a small organ part or blues riff but really have no organ chops whatsoever. I doubt I"ll learn pedals but would love to develop some real organ skills. Other than buying an organ (which I"m about to do), where should I start?
