  1. I'll be taking my Reface DX with me down south for 2 weeks in March. I like that the DX can run on rechargeable batteries and has built in speakers.
  2. I plug my rhodes, wurli, and clav into a Roland JC-40 and record the amp in stereo with 2 SM57s using Triton Audio FetHead In-Line mic preamps. I'm happy with it.
  3. I did a bit of a home studio reorg. I'd like to change the wall colour.
  4. I installed the update and I love the rotary now. I'm playing it though a pair of QSC K8.2s and it sounds great. I bought the YC61 to replace my Mojo 61 and I'm very happy with my decision. Thanks Yamaha! I picked up the YSC-YC61 Custom Soft Case recently too - I love how small and light this keyboard is.
  5. I'm playing the same rig for shows. The YC61 is working out well at rehearsals too - I don't need to bring anything else. I need a smaller gig bag for the YC now though - was using a Mojo 61 before.
  6. Here's a few of my beloved keyboards in my home studio.
  7. I'm looking for disco-type sounding strings with scoops and falls. I've found one by 8DIO that sounds great, but I'm not thrilled about buying the required full version of Kontakt. Any ideas appreciated.
  8. I successfully updated my Mojo 61 to the latest version by using the browser on an old Windows computer that hasn't been updated in ages. No more issues loading the editor from various devices. Thanks to the Crumar team for the advice and for emailing me back so quickly.
  9. My Mojo 61 is not automatically restarting when I press the Reset Wifi button on the rear panel. I believe this used to work - it's been a while. From the manual: 'If you forgot your Wi-Fi password for accessing the Editor web-app, use a small screwdriver or a sharp pencil to push the button that hides behind this hole. The password will be re-set to '00000000' and the system will restart automatically.' My goal isn't to reset the password, I'm troubleshooting why I can't load the editor in Chrome, Safari, or Firefox on an iPad, iPhone, or MacBook. I'm successfully connected to the Wi-Fi but the editor won't load and standard browser messages with URL of 192.168.1.1 or mojo/ Anyone have any ideas?
  10. I mainly play in blues bands that love to have keyboard players so I don"t really have this problem. What makes me quit is when the guitarist can"t play rhythm and it leaves me to do all the work and I end up not being able to play like I want to.
