  1. Yes, it was my idea few years ago to collect all issues, scan them and publish. Thanks to contributions from other members of yahoogroup YamahaDX we could do it, with the great help of another colleague Rawl Gelinas. the same way we did also Dx7 II Supplemental Booklets and other material. Now it's published with the Yamaha allowance and freely downloadable. Daniel Forro
  2. That one in Vienna Technisches Museum is from me, I sold it to them in 2003 before my moving to Japan. It was the oldest instrument in my private Museum of Electro-acoustic Musical Instruments which I have run between 1989-2003 as the only one in Czech Republic. I've got Neo-Bechstein in Czech Republic, previous owner told me it was used in some circus orchestra. It was not in good shape, I wanted to restore it as other my instruments but didn't have anough time and money. I was happy that Vienna TM could afford to do perfect renovation. Daniel Forro
  3. Concerning Yamaha VP1: Not true, there's probably 10 to 20 pieces, most of them are in Japan. I'm maybe the only musician who has recorded double CD "VP1 Impressions" in 1997 at Yamaha Europe in Hamburg, Germany, on one of three pieces which were in Europe. I could buy it for good price but still too expensive for me. So that one was bought by Austrian colleague, later he sold it to one German doctor who still has it in his collection. There are threads about it in some other discussion forums. You can hear some of my improvisations on my page www.soundclick.com/forrotronics And thanks to my cooperation with Yamaha as a Product Specialist, Demonstrator and Clinician I'm one of the first musicians who started to use VL1. Still I have two pieces, plus two VL1m, and more VL engines in other instruments. That's a pity Yamaha abandoned this way...
  4. I have K3 and two K5000W - love all of them...
  5. You can check them here: http://www.ruskeys.net/eng/synths.php I have this one, rather bizarre combination of organ/string/polysynth with monophonic synth: http://www.ruskeys.net/eng/base/formanta.php It's even possible to order MIDI interface for it...
  6. I think also it is E minor (oscillating between Aeolian and Dorian). G7maj is III, D7maj VII, F7maj Phrygian (Neapolitan) II and Emi tonic. Phrygian II was used the same way in Night in White Satin from The Moody Blues.
