  1. I do need 2 Kronos, I meant stupid to have 2 73's considering the possible advantages of having a 73 and a more portable 61.... but I'm really stressing that I'm going to be sorry about the 61 action. But hell, if it's good enough for Adrian Belew's keyboard player where I just noticed one, maybe I can live with it. I work out my exact sounds and especially combi's for what I'm playing out. Nothing else will do. $20 too! lol Same vendor also selling M3 And Triton and sh*tloads of others. https://www.ebay.com/itm/KORG-KRONOS-library-for-KONTAKT-LOGIC-PRO-TOOLS/153642667810?hash=item23c5d10f22:g:A-UAAOSwo7ZbuOTx
  2. CEB - Thanks and ya, I know the Krome keybed is bad, that's what I'm replacing, I thought I could live with it. I was wondering if the Kronos 61 was just as bad to figure out what 2nd Kronos to buy. AnotherScot - Thanks to you too. Do you think the Kronos 61 keypad is just as floppy/flimsy feeling as the Krome or better? And ya, I thought about the LS and found extremes of reviews of the keys from love to hate. Might consider if there was a 73, but I think I'm done lugging 88's of any weight this lifetime. -------- Another option on the table is to get an 88 for the studio - they're often cheaper than the more in demand 61's.... and use my 73 for playing out. I'm concerned that it's a little stupid to have two of the exact same thing. But....JUST found that a library of KRONOS sounds exists for KONTAKT...!..? ....but Korg isn't selling it?? Is this legit? That would make another purchase option if I could live with a nice midi board and Kronos sounds..... (layered with Keyscape which I already do...:-) )
  3. Greetings... I'm stressing about what choice to make, searched back 3 years here to see if this issue was ever discussed and couldn't find any likely title about it. I'm finally going to bite the bullet and buy a 2nd Kronos. I bought a Krome a year ago both to not have to unravel/pack/unpack my studio Kronos2 73 for every outside use and for how ridiculously lighter the Krome was.... but getting busier, miss the Kronos baaaaad when playing out and really need to have exactly the same thing for both uses. I'm still dreading the 46+ pounds of the 73 and wondering if I can live with the keybed of the 61 but don't have anywhere to try one. Can anyone tell me if the Kronos 2 61 keybed is the same thing or any better than the Krome? Or try to explain the difference? Much appreciation.
  4. A new Roland VR-730 arrived last Friday that I was hoping would work for a lightweight 'take to practice' rig and 'something different' for a change. Did a lot of listening online and VR-09 review reading but it was still a big guess, and looks like after a T-3, Triton, M-3 and Kronos I can no longer change religions. Isn't registered, will be returning or offering it here.
