  1. I'd even go so far as to say likely from a smart business point of view, which illustrates one of the reasons manufacturers want to use forums for marketing: every positive post on a forum about a product and the experiences actual owners have with it (including quickly resolved service issues) is potentially a powerful grass roots ad - all real testimonials from real people. Arguably way better than any magazine review or print ad... dB I have to say that long before I was a member of this forum or any forum, Aspen treated me like gold. I just think he really believes in his product and is genuinely thrilled when people catch the "center point fever"....(How's that for a free plug?....lol)
  2. "my hearing you through a SSv3 or TT08 or 20 Magnepans" Tim's the only one who has ever commented on or used all three of those...how could he not take that personal?
  3. I just have this feeling I'm going to get one...with the inputs and outputs you could run a wet and dry signal into it and dial in the wet to taste....if I'm looking at it right that is
  4. This caught my eye. Yes, what I want is a 40 pound amp with the spread of the SS that is FRFR (full range, flat response). And the journey continues. Nailed it!!
  5. Wow....I love this advice!! I haven't experimented with those options yet....sounds intriguing....
  6. So what's a realistic omnisphere mic? I googled it and all I got was you and Spectrasonics...
  7. Hi Aspen....would it be a total waste to upgrade the 6" speaker as well?....I have a feeling your answer is going to be yes.
  8. Hi Chuck.....the Beyma seems to require their own proprietary crossover. Do you think it would work in the ssv3? Just asking because I've heard very good things about them.
  9. "Makers of gaffers tape could up their profits slightly by displaying a hideous logo on the cardboard tube. Then you'd have to use up a bit of product before you started really using the roll." You've got a weird sense of humor....are you a musician?
