  1. 150 people is about the coverage I play to as well, the volume is fine, but again, I'm playing blues and you're playing rock... As to LH bass, I don't put it through the SS3 at all - when I have to do that, I roll it straight through to the bass cabinet directly. Not sure anything under a 12" is going to get you the bass cut you need. Note that G-K also makes a lightweight 15" cabinet, so if you do a lot of LH bass gigs, that might work better for you than my MB112
  2. >>hey folks, weeks ago some users were talking about the center point stereo spacestation, I'm planning to buy a keyboard amp and it interests me, however is seems so small, I usually play hard rock zeppelin and deep purple-like, I imagine the high distorted guitars and loud drums covering all the keyboard sound, isn't it like that? I mean, I would like it to compete at least with an marshall mg50 up to 10 << You won't have any trouble keeping up with the Marshall MG50 but nothing much above that one. If you add a bass cabinet (I use a Gallien-Krueger MB112 - 200w and only 30 lbs) you can crank it higher because the spacestation doesn't need to handle all the bottom and bottom, not being directional, doesn't suffer from not going through the Spacestation; if I REALLY need crank it up, I also add a K-8 sitting right on top of the SS3. The output from the SS3 is full range, so I set the K8 to handle primarily the top-top, let the SS3 handle the middle (the leslie sound is unbelievable from it) and the G-K handles the bottom. I find this is enough power for anything short of an outdoor concert, but I play blues, so if you're playing hard rock with a couple of guitar players in the group, your mileage may vary....
  3. Love it! This will be bedtime reading for a couple of nights... Thanks Jim
  4. Can you give me the OUTSIDE dimensions of it? Thanks
  5. Tony - can't find the dimensions of the Hammond bag anywhere, even on the HammondUSA site.
  6. As I said on the other thread, the Nord bag is bigger than the Kaces I already have...
  7. YES!!! Clavias wheeled bag for Nord C1/2 fits perfect!!! Anbody know of the SMALLEST, LIGHTEST bag, wheeled or unwheeled that the SK-2 will fit in?
  8. Yeah, saw this when you posted it somewhere else and aside from going to school on it for hours, I also wondered if you were using the Leslie Sim, or your vent...
  9. EXCELLENT!!! Didn't have a clue you could match the drawbar display match the actual positions. I can't get them to switch back by doing it a second time, but for that I can always hit the patch button again. Thanks
  10. Ham&EGS: Which set of upper and lower buttons are you referring to in this post? I can't seem to duplicate your results: you can do the same by pressing the upper and lower buttons at the same time , the drawbars then jump to their present setting instead of the preset setting.
  11. @BBblues - when I press those, I get the organ type settings, with no effect on the current drawbars...
  12. Which "Upper and Lower Buttons" are you talking about? I got all excited when I saw your post (it solves a performance problem for me) but I can't seem to replicate your results.
  13. >>Not me. Still using my GrooveTubes/Fender Mark II SpaceStation with my SK1. Still liking it.<<< Sure, if I could find one of THOSE, I'd be set. 32 lbs vs. 44 lbs would make a huge difference to me - this is the setup for those little Blues clubs I play where I want to carry in 50 lbs of gear, tops, instead of the full rack and powered PA speakers and a Motion Sound Pro 3T, etc etc. Would seriously pay through the nose for a Mk II
  14. Anybody have new info on the CPS SpaceStation v3? Love the specs (except the weight which has increased by a third since the Mark II) and I can listen to Aspen Pittman talk about the theory of sound reproduction for hours, but I'm wondering about availability, about using it for anything other than my SK-1, etc. My guy at Sweetwater hasn't even had the orientation lecture on it yet, and it's my understanding they're supposed to be getting it first. Anyone know anything new?
