  1. I would really recommend all the Barry Harris videos on youtube. He's inspiring and explains things in a way that makes so much sense, with a lot of passion. The Peter Martin short videos are good too!
  2. Hey Eric - nice one - I used that case for my Nord and it's done me proud over at least 4 years of gigging and touring with it. It's never been in a plane but it's been in lots of vans and through different countries! My only gripe is that the main handle is plastic - it's comfortable but not sturdy enough in the attachments. That hasn't put me off though - I just bought another one of these, for my OB-6. There was an SKB case recommended which looked nice but this Gator case was cheaper and of course better the devil you know...
  3. Thanks very much Eric - I'm working on it right now!
  4. Outstanding stuff Tom, super tight and with a live audience to boot! Ah thanks very much!
  5. [video:youtube] Hi all - here's a recent video of my band 'Resolution 88' - this track will be on our second album, due out this year! Thanks, Tom
  6. Hello, I'm brand new to this forum and this is my first post. I checked out your album and watched a few videos on YouTube. Awesome work. I'm also hearing shades of John Scofield in the music, albeit not on the guitar, but rather in the groove. I bought your latest album on iTunes. Nice job! -Kevin Kevin - a belated welcome to the forum - I've only just seen this. I'm honoured that your first post was about Resolution 88 and I'm glad you like our music. Many thanks!
  7. Hi all - like some of other videos on here, I've also posted in the 'shameless plugs' - but here's a video from Resolution 88's most recent gig. More to follow! Thanks, Tom [video:youtube]
  8. I had been trawling through your YouTube channel all day yesterday and bought the album today. Really Wonderful Herbierific stuff, Tom. Cheers. Now greatly looking forward to that Kaidi Tatham remix. What a collaboration. Thanks very much Arkan! I've just followed you on soundcloud and youtube; I'm really enjoying 'Ines (STBB289)' and 'arX - STBB286'! The Kaidi remix will be out fairly soon I think - just waiting for the final pressings to return from the plant; I ordered them ages ago! Many thanks, Tom
  9. Hi there - I've got a new EP out with my jazz funk band; if you like the Fender Rhodes and Herbie Hancock's 70's output then you'll probably be into what we've done It's available digital-only - iTunes, Amazon and Google Play links are available from the video (on laptops and computers) or in the comments. Thanks, Tom [video:youtube]
  10. Thanks for checking out our video Theo! Yes, the whole idea was to anchor songs with heavy drums / percussion / bass grooves, like Headhunters! Tom
  11. Hi all, here's a little video to introduce our band and our album: [video:youtube] Thanks, Tom
  12. Many thanks Eric! Yes it was a great gig - we had a lot of fun and I think the contrast of our structured songs and MMW's improvised set worked very well. We're very lucky - in a 6 month period we've been able to support both MMW and Snarky Puppy! Thanks, Tom
  13. This is my band 'Resolution 88' - this track is unreleased at the moment but we already have an album out. Tonight we had the honour of supporting Medeski, Martin & Wood and Nels Cline - it was a very fun gig! [video:youtube]
  14. If you like Headhunters grooves - if you like suitcase Rhodes, Clavinet, Solina, Moog Source, Moog Little Phatty etc... - if you're a fan of Bob Power (D'Angelo, Erykah Badu, The Roots etc) - then you'll like this - the link has an album teaser on soundcloud to preview, and the CD is now released (shipping worldwide).
