  1. My Nord Stage 2 had a pretty low output and I got one of those small Rolls mixers. which sort of worked but did give a lot of loud pops sometimes. Anyway since I updated to a nord piano 3 i think the low output issue has been resolved. I never use the rolls now.
  2. Bill Stewart Incandescence with Larry Goldings and Kevin Hays Great album [video:youtube]
  3. I prefer Gbadd9/Bb or maybe Bbm7b13 depending on context
  4. You should let Simon Cowell know this! It seems to me the opposite is true, that not very talented youngsters are taken on and turned into spice girls by media companies.
  5. I have ordered a quick lok ws650. I managed to find it easily once I stopped looking in the keyboard stand section and moved to the 'heavy duty dj table stand' section. Thanks for your help anyway
  6. Thanks, that looks great. I have not seen that one before, for some reason the big seller in Europe don't seem to stock it but I am sure I can find one.
  7. If there are no stands big enough the pedals are going to have to go back. What a shame
  8. That would be really useful, thanks. I can't see myself fabricating anything, there must be a stand that goes wide enough somewhere.
  9. Many thanks. 101.6cm is ok IF that is the clearance between the inside of the vertical tubes, but maybe it is the outside measurement which means the pedals wouldn't fit by a few cm. Any idea which it is?
  10. I have had a Viscount Legend Live for a few months now, great organ, love it. I just got the pedalboard 25 to go with it but it is really wide (about 100cm) and doesn't fit underneath any of my keyboard stands. I was hoping it would fit under the KM18810 but no, not even close. I there an extra wide table style stand that I can use that has the required width? I know Viscount do some special stands but they are either too expensive, non foldable or unavailable (in UK). What I need is a KM18810 but with about 15cm more span. Many thanks for any help
  11. I saw Keith play several times. Always exciting. RIP
  12. I studies that a bit some years ago. I was wanting to look at it again a few weeks back (lockdown has enabled some extra practice time) but couldn't find it. There was a dvd as well I remember, probably on youtube somewhere. I didn't find it that useful for me I remember although I enjoyed the concepts and love Ari's music.
  13. If only it were so simple. Jacob does use a lot of microtones, just tuning and alternative pitch centres. Very few singers have control of microtones in the way Jacob has, probably largely due to his operatic upbringing. If you are interested in Jacobs approach here is an introduction ⦠[video:youtube]
