  1. Check out the Nigel Price Organ Trio with Ross Stanley on Hammond…..
  2. & thank you for sharing, that"s a great magazine for any organist. I wasn"t aware of B3 player magazine, really appreciate your raising awareness of the mag ð
  3. Dear All, Thought this might be of interest; https://www.modernfilms.com/sisterswithtransistors/trunkrecords An 86 minute documentary on the "untold story of electronic music"s female pioneers". Worth watching just to hear Delia Derbyshire's wonderful speaking voice! Kind regards Julian
  4. Thanks Stokely, I'm using the mixer to adjust the 'live mix'. I've found that although the mix sounds OK whilst we are playing it, when I play it back I'd like to be able to tweak the levels....
  5. Hi David, Thanks for your reply. Yes, the backing track is already in Garageband.
  6. Dear All, I'm pretty new to all this so apologies in advance... I'd like to be able to record three instruments playing along 'live' to a backing track. I'd like to play the backing track and do the recording on GarageBand. With regard to the signal chain, is it possible/preferable to connect the USB interface before the mixer so that each of the three instruments is recorded as a separate track in the DAW? Most YouTube clips show the mixer connected before the interface.. Surely this would 'sum' everything into one stereo track in the DAW? I want to be able to adjust levels, balance etc after recording. I'd like to use a Behringer UMC404HD interface with my Alto ZMX 862 mixer. Thanks in advance for any help! Kind regards Julian
  7. All, I'm looking for a small & lightweight personal monitor, has anyone tried these? https://www.img-stageline.com/products/audio-tools/signal-processing/pa-speaker-systems-active/flat-m200/ there is an even smaller version; https://www.img-stageline.com/products/audio-tools/signal-processing/pa-speaker-systems-active/flat-m100/ I've found loads of threads on personal monitors & floor wedges but can't find any info on theses. Am attracted by the light weight & small size, might suit small gigs.... I'd be grateful for any experience or opinions. Kind regards Julian
  8. Hey, I really like that setup! I've often considered going for a Piano lower/Organ upper setup just like that. Can you tell me what model of Fatar keyboard that is underneath the Hammond? Kind Regards Julian
  9. Thank you all for the kind words. I based the design on a tone wheel chop cabinet & stability was a high priority. Whilst all of the modern clone wheel organs sound great, I chose the KeyB because, IMHO, it looks and feels most like a traditional Hammond. I find having a firm and solid stand also helps enhance the playing experience. I used an old set of Rhodes handles & 'Fender' Tolex to give it some traditional DNA. Glad you all like it )
  10. All, Here's a case I made for my KeyB.
