  1. Same here. The Bernafons have made a world of difference for me. I'm very satisfied with them.
  2. I've had a pair of Bernafons from Costco for about 4 years now. I lost a lot of high end hearing over the years. Very satisfied with them. Cost was about $2,600.00
  3. I have an S1. I'm pretty happy with it. I downloaded sounds from the website and use them. I use the S1 for all sorts of gigs. To me it's like playing a B-3, almost non-weighted keys.
  4. I've been using the Dexibell S1 for about 4 weeks now on jazz combo and big band jazz gigs. I'm very satisfied with the performance of this kybd. All I need are the pno, ep and jazz organ sounds and I'm good to go.
  5. Getting too old to schlep heavy gear around. I bought the S1, 18 lbs, and the sounds, acoustic pnos and EPs are pretty good. The action is similar to a B3 although the keys aren't waterfall. I downloaded a few of the Platinum pianos from their website. So far, I'm very satisfied with the sounds. Even the jazz organ sounds OK. I also bought a Peavey KB2, about 34lbs. Everything is easy on the lower back now!
  6. I've been using a small cheap Behringer mixer. No problems with it.
  7. My wife wants to get a rescue cat. I think my music room would be a playground for a cat with all the patch cords hanging down. My wife says keep the door closed but I know inevitably the cat woud get in there sooner or later. Anyone dealing with cats here?
  8. I've enjoyed George for many years. First saw him at the Village Vanguard with Freddie Hubbard way back when.
  9. I have a pair of Roland CM-30 Cube Monitors that have done well for me for the last few years.
  10. What would be the best minimal set-up and app for online rehearsing? This would be for piano, bass, drums and vocal. Thanks.
  11. Lots of patterns in the 1st 30 seconds. There are plenty of books out on playing patterns.
