  1. Apparently the first three were "limited" editions - not sure about the others.
  2. My wife got a AMEX pre-sale premium tick for $170. Her seat is billed as "obstructed", but it's just near the light or sound console. I think the code is still good: Use code INGOLD and see what you can get (just need to pay with AMEX).
  3. I fly my Mavic almost exclusively at night. If you manually set the ISO and shutter, you can get some really nice video. I think it's the best commercial drone on the market right now: What it lacks in camera res. over the P4's it makes up for in range, portability, and quiet operation.
  4. Oh yeah gotta "Save the Earth". Listen hippy, Mother Nature has been killing us for thousands of years with floods, volcanoes, lightning, plague, and tornadoes. If I wanna fight back by throwing a printer in a landfill, I'm gonna do it! Oh yeah, Happy Thanksgiving!
  5. I just got my D-50 back in service and forgot how nice that keyboard action is. Same with the first gen Fantom (FA-76). Not sure when they made the switch, but I'm sure many would gladly pay more a quality keyboard action.
  6. Hey there and welcome to the forum! If we are JUST talking those 2 (DM12 vs T12) I'd go with the T12. It's just superior in every way. Of course, there are many other options out there that will serve you well sound wise, and for less than the T12, but it seems like you've connected with that Virus sound.
  7. "Aftertouch" was awesome - loved those little flexible demo records. ps. Back issues of "Aftertouch" are online at: http://yates.ca/dx7/AfterTouch-Magazine/
  8. My wonderful wife bought me something very nice and very expensive for Valentines / Anniversary. This is how it arrived: Full story coming soon once everything is resolved. Spoiler alert: It was not UPS' fault. This is going to be a good story, boys!
  9. What ?!! Couldn't get her to ok the CFX purchase ? C'mon HAHAHAHA. I showed my wife a picture of the CFX and played "The Price is Right". She started at $65k and we kept going up and up and up. She was shocked at the MSRP. Speaking of, what do these normally sell for ("street price").
  10. Congrats. I think you made a wise choice. Some purist poo-poo the digital oscillators, but I think the "non-standard" ones they included really expand the variety of sounds you can get from it. The Pro 12 is on my radar.. I may just end up getting the module though to save some money and space. But I do love all the knobage on the keyboard version!
  11. Finally assembled a desk I got on a "scratch & dent" deal. I'm using it as a (mostly) analog workstation. It's a very compact set-up for having so much gear. I am really digging the X-Air18 mixer. The DrumBrute has individual outs so this gives me a bunch of inputs with up to 4 effects per channel in a very small footprint.
  12. Not just the FA's. The JD-Xa and JD-Xi had complaints up the wazoo.. so many that Roland is giving away free matte overlays. I got the white JD-Xi and it's MUCH better in terms of smudges and readability of the labels. Wish they'd make the XA and FAs in white as well. I did see a custom white XA but I think that was a one-off for some big name DJ.
