Leslie 3300 Panel Removal Help
Michael Wright replied to Michael Wright's topic in The Keyboard Corner
I didn't post on the Hammond/Leslie tech pages at all. I put an oversized screw in one of the holes, just enough to bite in to the panel only, then used a claw hammer with a thin piece of wood under it and the panel popped off. -

Leslie 3300 Panel Removal Help

Success! Got both panels off. Now to find that pesky vibration. Woofer needs tightening at the very least. -
I had a fellow here to have a look at my 3300 to purchase, however we discovered an annoying vibration at substantial volume. We were trying to remove the panels in order to figure it out, which is proving to be a bit of a trick. I have managed to get the lower one off, but the upper one is defeating me. I would really like to do so without damaging the cabinet at all. I think the spray on coating was not really dry when it was assembled, and has glued it together. Any ideas would be quite welcome, as well as potential sources of this vibration. Cheers Mike

I have changed my Face place name to Mickey Keys (cheesy I realise).

Everybody needs a Di in their kit. Don't rely of others to have one. Cheers Mike

I like an umbrella. and a nice fruity drink, again, with a small umbrella, when I play outside. 🙂

??? I get them from Thomann shipped to Canada. I see no evidence that they are discontinued. YMMV It's a top 100 seller for them. It might just be off L&M's deck. https://www.k-m.de/en/products/keyboard-stands/keyboard-tables/18880-table-style-keyboard-stand-black?c=171 https://www.thomann.de/gb/km_18880.htm

Your Latest Purchase (music related)
Michael Wright replied to Justin Havu's topic in The Keyboard Corner
Picked up this little fellow for messing around at home for $100cad. I had an R8 for years, but sold it on. Miss the brush cards, but if I get enough use out of this, I may look for another one with some cards . I have plenty of capability in the drum DAW and VI department , but this is handy for just setting a quick groove . -

I have my turntable wired to play through the stereo speakers and/or studio monitors. I listen to my digital library through the studio speakers. Never listen to music in the car. And also don't like streaming services.
