  1. I hope you can return in the near future. Many interesting conversations and a chance to share with others of like mind on this forum. Jim
  2. I think the current name is OK but I am easy to get along with so if someone really wants to change it not a problem with me. Jim
  3. I just think it is damn ugly but someone spent a lot of effort to set that up. Jim
  4. I second Justin. I have watched a couple of his free online lessons and he is easy to learn from. Jim
  5. For me it had to be some old campfire/cowboy songs from the ED Sales learn to play guitar book. I do remember learning to play bar chords and learned Day Dream Believer using lots of bar chords. First one for a band was Louie Louie. Jim
  6. Sad to hear another of the top songsters of our time passing. He will be missed and remembered. Jim
  7. I live in michigan. We are able to work from our up north cabin/house. The town only has population of 230 officially. The county has recorded 22 cases total so far so we feel pretty safe. This weekend lots of downstate folks are comng north. The expressway was heavy traffic the past couple days coming north. I hope we do not see a big surge here. BTW we are in a zone that allows resturaunts to serve 50% indoors and hair and nail places are open. Keep safe and wear the mask when you are anywhere that you question the possibility of exposure. Jim
  8. Hope it is the one. Enjoy. Jim
  9. Thanks for sharing your song. Great to put a face to a name. Jim
  10. We recorded most of it. Didn't know it was on until a few minutes after it started. We were watching something else and have not gotten to view it yet. Jim
  11. I am working from home but that gives me about 2 extra hours per day that I don't have to commute. I have learned the chord pattern to a couple more Jim Croce songs and my finger callouses are getting back in shape. I think I want to try James Taylor fire and rain next. I did fixed a blender and a couple vaccume cleaners that were plugged up. Maybe next week we will have a few early mushrooms out. I see some of the retired guys that are super hunters are already getting some dark morels. Jim
  12. Sweet looking guitar. Welcome to the forum. Jim
  13. a couple months ago I almost bought something like this. As an engineer I especially like that they say separate forcibly instead of explode blow up etc. You can tell corporate legal spent some time wording this. Jim
