  1. Jeff has helped me out too. Here’s my latest method of protecting potentiometers on the KP-610s on tour. It’s working so far 🤞
  2. had the HX stomp for a bit and iirc, after some finagling I was able to make it work as a USB audio interface, in addition to midi etc. Eventually went back to hardware w/ radial key largo and will probably use KL or MOTU m4 as audio interface on some upcoming fly dates.
  3. Miss my 200a too. Was stupid of me to leave it in car overnight 10+ years ago. Car window was smashed and 2 200a’s were stolen, one was for parts. — have played some wurlies since and none can compete with the sound and feel of the stolen 200a. And with how much they cost now, figuring I’ll stick w/ the plugs at home and lately have been liking Nord thru uafx dream ‘65 pedal (black face fender deluxe sim) at gigs.
  4. hopefully KC uses a similar "play"book, full of timely drops, fumble and carom. also congrats to #99 Javon Kinlaw, on the 49ers' DL. (also a Gamecock, Deebo's teammate at SC)
  5. 49ers certainly did require a series of fortunate events to win that one . . but am glad my man Deebo's back in the SB, with Mr. Irrelevant at QB.
  6. Chopin wrote pieces in Gb Major and F# Major, so maybe could look at how those progress/modulate. Eb minor (relative to Gb) makes more sense to me, when doodling around, than D# minor for sure.
  7. Thanks! Curious to try Touché sometime. I imagine it's amazing with Continuum or Osmose. That's difficult to answer. Circumstance mainly. Either one is amazing. Osmose costs less and has traditional keys, and I've had keys (and been broke :p) for 40+ years so might as well stay the course. Osmose takes some getting used to too. Playing rapid passages with subsequent white keys can cause friction. But, hopefully I'll modify technique to avoid that, or incorporate more arpeggios etc. while playing Osmose. There's an Osmose thread here that you probably have seen, and the Facebook Haken Continuum group contains an encyclopedia of Continuum and EaganMatrix related info.
  8. got the Osmose by Expressive E a couple days ago (Sweetwater demo) previously had the Continuum for a couple years, and Osmose is more fun to play and up my alley, due to having actual keys. Tho, if I had 1000 years to learn an instrument, Continuum has infinite possibilities. Osmose will only take 200 or so years 🙃
  9. yep, did a North America + Norway tour on bass this summer, but recently gave up the gig to focus on keys. Kept my jazz bass (which just has some kinda magic feeling) for recording and doodling tho, sold the P.
  10. some time back I really got into "Bellybutton" and "Spilt Milk" LP's, and some of Jason Falkner's solo material. Brilliant stuff!
  11. For years I've been wondering: Why is PI not reviewable? It's extremely difficult to make an accurate call in real-time with just the human eye. And PI calls have affected the outcome of countless games. Lately I'm thinking we need to have a ref raise a flag, similar to offsides in soccer, and then New York or wherever can confirm if PI actually did occur. If this is a pain, do it just in the 4th quarter, or at least the last 5 minutes of the game. That said, not too long before the missed PI call, they penalized the Packers for hitting Mahomes out-of-bounds, when he was clearly inbounds. (non-reviewable too)
  12. I really dig the sound of my motion sound kp-610s but it falls apart often. Currently it has 3 issues. (1. Tweeter aka driver’s screws and particle board don’t get along. Tweeter hangin’ by a thread. 2. Another potentiometer is loose/wobbly/noisy, replaced one recently. 3. Exposed wood on bottom corner, duct taped.) You kinda have to be patient w/ customer service but they’ve been responsive. Think I’m gonna switch back to QSC K12’s when my gear gets stuffed in a van and use the motion sound for local gigs. I’ve had K12’s 10 or so years and they’re mighty tough and sound good.
  13. Ordered a couple of pedals utilizing BF discounts: Uafx dream (‘65 blackface deluxe reverb sim) and also an Eventide H90. Alto Music has a pretty cool 15% off "BF15" code going, and also received an additional 5% off when re-activating account via email. Also, every item I've ordered from Alto has been tax free. I do publicly declare, these are the last big purchases I shall make for awhile! 🤞
