Hi Miles. I'm another "newbie" to the forum. I have a Fender Blues DeVille Reissue. (4-10's) I replaced the 6L6 output tubes with Groove Tubes "SubStitubes", now using EL84's as output tubes...My problem is, it's still too loud to get the tone it's capable of when it's really opened up. Any other suggestions?? Also what would you recommend the "settings" be set on. It's a great sounding amp, just way too loud. My guitars are a Hagstrom Super Swede and an American Deluxe Strat....Thanks.
