After years of hauling around 60 - 80 pound 410 cabs I now have a Markbass mini CMD (112) plus extension cab...26 and 29 pounds respectively. I can load in and out in one trip if I just take the combo without the extension cab but I usually take both. I also just sold a 98 pound Garnet combo to a drummer friend who likes vintage gear...I used to haul that beast to practice and gigs.

People have been playing guitar on the couch since guitars and couches were invented. And since there is probably 7-8 minutes of actual playing time during a 3 hour ball game, so why not kill 2 birds? I would think that playing on a lightweight keyboard during a ball game is better than not playing it at all. It doesn't have to be all or nothing.
