  1. Here is a pretty funny prank the Juniors at the local high school pulled. There is a tunnel that runs below the street.
  2. Ok - here is something different from me. I've sort of been kicking around some ideas, normally Aaron does the writing. Introducing Elf Boy is a little melody that has been floating around in my head for a while now, it's sort of a "sound track" to a recurring dream I have. I've got this idea, and 3 other pieces that go with it. My intention is to put a bit of each on our cds as we release them, and hopefully someday put them all on a single cd. The piano, strings, flute and chimes are all off my my rd700sx. http://www.myspace.com/pianoforum
  3. I don't know if this one has been mentioned. But when I travel I like to eat what the locals eat. A great place to find out where to go is www.roadfood.com I also like to cook and you can share that sort of stuff as well. They got after me (theedge) for playing with fire the other day, here is a link to that thread: http://www.roadfood.com/Forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=18173
  4. Ok, here is something completely different from me. My buddy was messing around in c and f, I threw on this quirky little melody and away we went. It hasnt been properly EQD, mixed and all of that yet as we need to do vocals yet. Its sort of repetitive but if you stick it out there is some different stuff towards the end. The piano, organ, chimes, strings and trumpet are all done on the RD700SX. Not sure about the trumpet sound, but that can be tinkered with.suggestions? Ive got another new one too but it isnt popping up for some reason. www.myspace.com/pianoforum
  5. Ok, I'm sneaking one on here, don't tell my buddy, keep it secret, keep it safe. I set up a little myspace page for odds and ends. This is a ruff mix of a song going on the next cd. I'll re-do the little piano solo "chunky" part, not really my type of playing but I try. I just think the cool is song...or something like that. www.myspace.com/pianoforum
  6. Well, this might not be wild and crazy, but I got a compliment I never expected the other night: Thank you for not playing brown eyed girl". That made my year.
  7. SPAM: I picked up our cd copies last week, I'm very happy with them. If anyone cares to purchase a copy you can paypal me at tony@roberts-specialty.com $15.00 includes shipping. First gig is tomorrow night! I haven't played out in 8 years I'd guess.
  8. I wasn't going to share this one, but what the heck, I'll throw it out there. Nice little song I wrote the day my dog died. I keep thinking I could have played it better, then no, then yes, then no...never ending. www.myspace.com/tonybennetts
  9. Thanks Craig, I keep asking myself what the heck it's called, I'd say folk/pop would be as close as anything. Both the organ and the piano are from the 700SX. I used the 600 grand piano sound and whatever the first Hammond sound is on the keyboard. I'm not a "techy" person, I just find one I like and go with it. I was just in the process of putting new songs up on myspace. I got two up before the site started to disagree with me. Our cd's will be printed in a few weeks. Take a listen www.myspace.com/fellows2trio
  10. Are you using Norton Antivirus Internet protection? Sometimes I have to turn that off for a bit if I want to do something. I haven't had any problems with myspace though.
  11. While perhaps not as interesting as a discussion of where one sticks his wanker I've been plugging along in the basement. The new web site is http://myspace.com/fellows2trio and we have added a new song. The mix down needs some help and back up vocals will be added.
  12. Thanks Jazzman! We've been plugging away in the old basement, hope to have a cd done with in 2 months.
  13. Ok, here it is again, a little less rough cut I hope. I think we're about 70% on our way to having a decent sound. I'm starting to dig this home recording deal. http://www.myspace.com/fellows3trio
  14. Looks like my singer fellow set up a little site. Be nice now, this is a ruff cut, slapped together with a free download of Krystal. We're heading up to Minneapolis tomorrow to get some better recording equipment. This is piano and organ off of my rd-700sx. http://www.myspace.com/fellows3trio
  15. Well I've got a ruff mix. Where the heck can I upload a wav file for you to hear?
