  1. No worries, Floyd. I'm still holding out hope that someone will come up with a driver, or that one day I abandon Windows and find that Ubuntu has a working driver. Actually, I've never plugged it into my iPad Pro, so maybe it works with that. I'll check and report. I hate to see it being unused, at least the keyboard function, since it's practically brand new.
  2. But that's not available for iPad, AFAIK.
  3. @Floyd Tatum I found it! Finally. I don't see any revisions, though.
  4. Henley is a true talent, especially vocally. But he's not a guy I would ever want to have a beer with.
  5. These are the only gigs where I am willing to learn a song. Learning new songs is time consuming. I may make exceptions if they are songs that I will incorporate into my regular gigs because I like them. But not for a one-off.
  6. As an aside, looking at the specs for the Montage M (since I'm totally unfamiliar with it's capabilities), the sequencer lists a maximum of 128 songs. That can't be right, can it?
  7. I found Camelot very confusing, and quickly abandoned it, but not because of it's complexity. I was under the false assumption that it would also play back my MIDI sequences, and I could use the program to quickly, visually, and easily create Program combinations and splits for each song. I'm still kinda looking for an app that does that.
  8. I think I've heard more excellent, unique versions of 'I've Got Rhythm' than any other song.
  9. Great news! After heart attack onstage, Al Di Meola is bringing ‘Electric Years’ tour to Clearwater this weekend This happened early February, but it's the only news about him since his heart attack. Hopefully it went well.
  10. I heard back from the CEO, no less. It's currently only available on SlingTV. I've always been a Toto fan. That is, a fan of their hits. That's all I know. And when I think of Toto I think Steve Lukather, David Paich, Porcaro brothers, Bobby Kimball. I know they broke up and re-assembled over the years but I never paid attention. This channel has their 2007 concert with Greg Phillinganes filling in for Paich, and Bobby Kimball singing again. The 2013 concert is better. Paich, and Joseph Williams on vocals. I didn't know this guy so I looked him up to find that he's movie score master John William's son. What a voice!
  11. I'll sell you mine. I say that half-joking. Creative didn't update the driver past Windows XP, I think, so unless you can make it work with a Mac or Linux...It's why I haven't used it in ages. And let me just take this time to say that Creative sucks. They never update any of their drivers, although they made some cool stuff 20 years ago. Then abandoned it.
  12. I've been using the G-PG-76 Go Pro from Gator for 3 years now and I love it. It's a little bigger than I need but I'm happy with the protection, and the extra long zipper pocket, rain poncho, and other thoughtful extras. It has gotten a bit pricey in the past 2 years, though. When I bought mine they were going for $242 at the Sweet place, but I got tired of waiting for them to be back in stock after covid slowdowns, so I bought one on Reverb, brand new (they claimed, anyway) for $170. https://gatorco.com/product/76-note-keybaord-gig-bag-g-pg-76/
  13. Niels Lan Doky should be in the conversation. He's very under the radar. Same with Otmaro Ruíz.
  14. Me too! I used to keep an old rug in my vehicle for this but it was a pain, and didn't really protect cables, just kept people from tripping over them. I've even resorted to duct tape, but that's a sticky disaster getting off the cables. I tend to like my Spacestation very far away from me, so I made two 35ft. balanced cables from a 1,000 ft roll of high-quality cable I bought at a garage sale 25 years ago for $10. It inevitably needs to cross over a pathway at some point. Never thought to look for one of these until recently. I'm a happy camper!
