  1. they do provide a noteshift function that changes the tuning while leaving the split point intact. Its just not a panel button but its pretty easy to get to. Besides, i thought the established consensus here was that transpose buttons arent even allowed to be used? pretty much any split needs an octave shift. So while editing splits in performance mode, using the octave panel buttons without shifting split point would be ideal rather than digging thru menus to find transpose parameter and scrolling 12.
  2. If you're talking about the buttons on the far left transposing up and down octaves, I don't believe they can be saved within a performance it's a global, live setting. You can still save the note transpose (up to two octaves up or down) within an individual part of a performance. Yeah i wish it didnt function that way. If you are in edit mode, and you are editing a single part, the octave buttons should act as a parameter change only within that part edit. Seems like the natural thing to do.
  3. Motif XS = 3:15secs fyi or maybe it was 2:15secs.... i cant remember, but its painfully long boot
  4. Its because of posts like this that I dont post my music. What an excellent cover and great production
  5. wait thats not the milkman coming, thats the keyboard player!
  6. dang thats awesome, sure beats my rubbermaid tote ive been using for 20yrs
  7. In an age where memory and hard drive space is cheap and endless, keyboard makers are still frugal with the memory cards used in their machines.
