  1. Nice, Sam. Reminded me of Dopapod (one of my favorite bands). 👍
  2. This topic brought a smile to my face. I ran my M3 into my Organ Grinder into my MiniVent into a Fender Twin. What a sound!
  3. Indeed, my M3 sounds fantastic through my MiniVent. It's ironic because of the two, the Leslie would be easier to gig! 🙂
  4. I always seem to look too serious. Look at my avatar.... I'm not a vocalist but lately I've been singing along anyway. I've seen drummers do it and the joy starts to come through a little bit. I try to channel any amount of Richie Hayward that I can.🙂
  5. I bet you can make that sound pretty friggin good! 🙂
  6. Gigger Halfmoon. Got one on my NE2, got one on my SK1, got one on my Hammond M3. Indispensible!
  7. Tracy knocking it out of the park as usual!
  8. Mo, I bought basic rechargeable $100 Audiens for my 87 year old mother and I was impressed with the product for the price. I forget the price cut offs but you can get basic and then remote controlled or app controlled etc. and price goes up. After 3 months she lost both and so for that possibility/eventuality cheaper the better. She had previously gone the audiologist $5000 route and had nothing but problems. With the Audiens she was in business right away and they worked well (tested them myself) - I didn't have to repeat myself and she watched TV at something less than 120 decibels! Controls (on/off/volume) are small and hard to see (get out your readers and magnifying glass!). Good luck.
  9. I saw Spyro last week and was disappointed Tom was not there. His replacement, Chris Fischer, was a great player but did not look as comfortable as Tom. Tom was always visually engaged with the band and made it look easy, whereas Chris looked like he was working hard. Of course, I can only imagine the woodshedding that went into getting that gig! Great show nonetheless....
  10. Can somebody explain what he meant by this: "Also, note to future touring keyboardists, be sure to have tones programmed in on each keyboard that are set at -0-. This way the FOH guy can set levels without having to do sound checks."
  11. Gives new meaning to "spinning wall of Leslie Death"....😃
  12. Ben, for the stairs, I find it helpful to grip the handle differently for going up and down. For going down, grip it to the rear of the handle and the keyboard will pitch downward, nearly parallel to the stairs. For going up, do the reverse. You won't have to raise it as high to prevent it from contacting the stairs. Maybe it will help! 🙂
  13. El Lobo, Check out the live version where Manzarek plays organ. You might like it more, that's the way I play it. It's on American Prayer. It can be a great blues. 😎
