  1. Greg, You want to get the D-Sub panels. Sturdy and largest selection of connectors for them Another vote for Redco 1/4" Passthru 1/4" wire it yourself Inside my SKB 4U StudioFlyer rack case Front side Backside with Labeled connections
  2. It's actually quite simple. The thing about the Montage/MODX is that the deep diving is meant to be done BEFORE you take it out to gigs. I personally love the Superknob and all that it lets me do without taking my hands off the keys.
  3. let's put full test. Caution.. turn back now if George Carlin's dirty words offend .... . . . . . . Rat shit bat shit, dirty old twat. Sixty-nine assholes tied in a knot. hurray ,lizard shit fuck!
  4. Testing this myself... I was on a forum that was family friendly. I brought up something about the town of Milford, Ohio. It got kicked for using the word 'Milf'
  5. The only time the logos on my boards were covered were when we played the local segment of ABC's Good Morning America back around 2010. It was the network and not me who did it. It was also a 5 am load in to be ready for our 7 minutes of fame at 9 am
  6. I really liked listening to Tim's review. I enjoy his clear voice, and way of explaining things. Thanks for posting this @niacin
  7. Okay as Moonglow said, that was fun. I enjoyed it for exactly what it was. I don't do a deep dive into these things. I just enjoy the jam. I think we take ourselves too seriously at times.
  8. REDCO has made all my snakes for me. I use their Snake Assembler page on their website. They are solidly built and last. My oldest one is 9 years old, and no issues.
  9. My Keylab 61MKii is my favorite aftertouch implementation of the boards I have/have had with AT. I have learned how to be expressive with it. On patches I don't want it, I filter it out in whatever hot I'm using (Mainstage, GigPerformer, etc..) Anther company that gets it right is Alesis, with their old VortexMK2 Wireless. That keybed is golden, to me.
  10. The only cell phone videos of us I don't like are the ones where the person is standing right up at the stage, so the phone picks up the audio of the monitor. Invariably, it is a 'horrible' mix, as far as FOH, as it's what the particular band member wants dialed in. When it's posted, it makes it seem like the FOH engineers has no idea how to mix, or it makes it seem as we have no awareness of how own instrument levels. Other than that, I enjoy watching us play.
  11. All good advice here. Something to keep in mind, and I see someone mentioned it. You may consider getting another Montage or MODX+ Most like the Superknob was adjust more than one parameter at the same time (the beauty of the Superknob). I make extensive use of that on my MODX+
  12. I have the iK B3X. Love it. I will use it live when it's the only thing I'm playing. For live use in the band, I use the CMC preset pack. It is wonderful within my band setting. He does some really good work with Mainstage/Logic sounds
