I bought an old blackface bassman that had old sylvania power tubes. I played it one day with no problem. A couple of days later, i fired it up and get nothing but barely audible preamp saturation. I swaped the power tubes and it worked fine. The sylvania don't ligh at all. What i would like to know is does this sound like the normal death of tubes or is there something wrong with the amp that caused the tubes to fail? thanks matt
