Just saw a new cable bag pop up on Amazon! Loudmouth Cable File Bag I like that they made the interior bright yellow for dimly lit stages and it's got great dimensions at 24" x 11" x 12". Also interesting that they intentionally didn't include exterior pockets?! I wouldn't mind having some. The slots look a bit narrower too, so not sure if they'd fit a small piece of rack-like gear, small mixer or a pedal like a Ventilator.

Korg MS1 MicroSampler?
-
Just to dovetail onto Mike's post... if you pick up MainStage and an audio interface, you can sample your Korg 01/WFD's sounds into MainStage using the EXS24 plugin, then you have your Korg's sounds available in MainStage whether you use it as a controller or not!

I'm aware foot controller units like this exist (if that's what you mean), but I think the majority are more expensive than this unless you pick up a used unit. Plus, you can plug in a 1/4" expression pedal with the option, unless you're referring to some other different type of "existing pedals"? I'm not quite sure what point you're trying to make?

Didn't see a thread about this yet, so I thought I'd start here... Midistomp.com This guy I know via a MainStage/worship musicians Facebook group has started producing his own 6-button midi foot controller. You can buy it 3 different ways... 1) pre-built, 2) as a DIY kit with all the parts and you assemble it IKEA-style or 3) just get the plans and acquire the parts yourself. There's also an option to add 1-2 expression pedal jacks. I'm personally torn between getting something like this for my MainStage rig and putting together a pedalboard, or going with a simpler, used, manufactured version (currently eyeing a Line 6 FBV Express MKII). I've seen the other threads that everyone has posted with their pedalboards, but would be curious to hear if anyone uses the Line 6 that I'm looking at?

MMA Announces Changes Ahead Of MIDI 2.0 Adoption
hatricklov replied to Dave Bryce's topic in The Keyboard Corner
Boy, do I ever hope so. I'm no David Rosenthal by a long shot, but the number of headaches I run into when I use my Seaboard in conjuction with standard controllers in a Mainstage concert... I've been using MainStage for a little over 2 years and have been eyeing adding a Roli. Based on what I'm gathering from the posts above, I'm guessing that MainStage doesn't adequately handle all of the MIDI messages that the Roli can send... is that correct? I'd be curious to hear specific details about the other headaches you have. -
This. I'll also second/third the recommendation for MainStage/Logic's stock B3 plugin.

Avs are now 7-0-1, undefeated in regulation.

Decent midi controller for dorm room practice

I own an Arturia miniLab and it's build quality is awesome. I've heard nothing but good things about the brand. If you end up changing your mind and getting an 88-key version, I'd consider a Nektar LX88+. It's semi-weighted and I use it at church. Just in case and since you mentioned MainStage, be aware that it doesn't run on an iPad and isn't available for PC. Also worth noting is that many plugin producers are warning against updating to the Catalina OS, so something to consider if you go shopping. The college I went to didn't have any music programs, but there was one in the student center (if you didn't mind the chance you would likely have an audience) and another tucked away in another building used for the choir club. -
Avs are now the only undefeated team in the league, now that Edmonton lost last night. Their game against Washington was the first of a six-game road trip, and it's a tough one... Pittsburgh, Florida, Tampa Bay, St. Louis, Vegas. Going to enjoy this until they crap out!

My Avs are 4-0... and at the time of this post are leading the Caps 4-0 in their 5th game of the season at the end of the first period.

When I gigged out regularly, I had a power conditioner, wireless mic unit and a Roland JV-2080 in a shallow rack. The rack went on an angled amp stand, which could go on either side of me or sometimes in front of me depending on the venue. It was nice because it boosted it off the floor to within my reach. I ran my keyboard and JV-2080 to a small Behringer mixer on the floor near me, then ran that out to the main board. I'm not sure if an amp stand would help you out, but something to consider?

Want to add small sampler w/ Pads to Ballpark Organ Setup
hatricklov replied to Bobadohshe's topic in The Keyboard Corner
It's not exactly the same form factor, slightly bigger and (yikes) more expensive than I'd anticipated... but just throwing out the idea of the Korg microsampler. -
I've used this Plugable hub for 2 years, haven't had any issues. I use it with MainStage to connect my keyboard and Korg nanoKontrol2 and audio interface. The extra ports are nice to have to charge a phone or tablet at the same time on my desktop.

^^^^ All of this! Although, for that last one I'd probably wouldn't even give them the benefit of a response. If the communication is poor, it conveys carelessness and tells me they're not serious about the transaction, period. I would add that on Facebook Marketplace, it is nice that you can scope out the seller's profile with their pic and other info (assuming of course that they've posted an accurate picture and other details). All the more info to help scope out a stranger. I did receive an interesting response from a potential buyer after explaining I would let them know if an earlier buyer's transaction fell thru... "F you if you don't hold onto this item for me LOL"
