...and the big question about the PCI HardSID:
- Price: It will be somewhere around the original ISA prices (not

*Since designing the hardware is the minor thing*, let's see the
answer to the BIGGEST question:
- MIDI on Windows XP / Windows 2000
I can tell very good news!
I finished developing the MIDI drivers for the PCI versions for both
Windows XP and Windows 2000.
These are completly rewritten fully 32-bit WDM drivers which will be
installed Plug&Play.
Another good news: The MIDI CPU utilization is very low, driving one
SID with lots of LFOs takes about only 6-10% on a Celeron@500MHz!
...and the editor is improved with many comfortable functions for
Patch editing such as undo buffer for every patch, Patch/Part/LFO
copy feature by drag&drop, LFO curve preview and a very useful LFO
preview window where you can see every change that you make to your
LFOs. (these changes are also applied to the 16-bit Win9x/ME drivers
which can be used with both the PCI versions and the ISA cards)
So, everybody stay tuned for the new HardSID generation!

@lody: du hast definitv recht, muesste echt mal wieder was machen... ich werd nur die ganze Zeit durch mein Entdeckerdrang ein wenig abgelenkt. Hier (Singapore & Umgebung)gibts echt viel zu sehen.. bin demnach auch viel unterwegs. Aber let's see.. vielleicht ergibt sich ja doch was

hab ich doch schon laengst
ist halt fuer live ne super nette sache! und im wahrsten sinne ne geile drumbox: das teil hat alle guten/bekannten drumbox samples (tr808,909, cr78, etc. + div. Acid Sachen) 4bittig ins ROM gepresst bekommen. Der gameboy-typische klingklang natuerlich inklusive... thrash pur!
