S.O.CK.R.A,

May I ask why you're selling it? What other drum machine(s) are you using in its' place? Isn't most of the world *waiting* to buy a Machinedrum?
Also, isn't the price you're asking the same as a new Machinedrum?

BTW - I checked your site out. Nice tracks, especially the 2nd one.

we're happy that you liked our site and the trak! \:\)
check the site 4 updates and more trakz.

a new machinedrum costs €1350 and $1100...
and we're selling it because we need money 4 another machine. \:\( !

€700...hmmm, no! thats an insult 2 the delicate swedish machinery! ;\) give us a better offer!

I own a Machinedrum already & I think it's the shit!!! A buddy of mine wants one too, that's why I'm checking. I'll pass word to him later this evening. How can I get your stuff when it's finished? Are you guys doing the distribution on your own? When it's available, I'd like to get enough copies to sell in my shop, too. You can email me, if this is the wrong forum to discuss this, at:

Mixmaster@hotmail.com

Keep 'em bangin!!!

imo the price of the machine drum has to be "re-thought".. well I know that its not cheap to develop such a machine.. but what I heard till now (some minutes.. just turning knobs etc..) I would not give 1350euro..

maybe I should stay longer with the machine to fall "in love" with it??..

well.. I will check it again longer.. when its somewhere in the shops in cologne..!??

not seen yet.. only direct distribution, huh?.. ;(

I agree, it's too high a price if it's not fresh from the factory. I bought one from the first batch, and was well aware that most of my dollars were going into Elektron's research & development costs. Also, I collect (and use \:\) ) drum machines, so it was an o.k. buy for me. Besides, It's been pretty useful to me, though it's currently back at Elektron getting a tune up.

And yes, it's currently only direct distribution.

Moogulater, any suggestions on other machines I should check out? Hopefully my next purchase will be the dr walker 09 - I've gotta check the soundfiles on it to make sure so I'm not slammed with redundancy and nothing else but "collector's joy (or maybe i should say "greed?")

for a collector a limited machine may be very nice.. did you listen to dr walkers xbase? there is an mp3 on jomox.de..

Imo the doc has made some nice samples for it.. I'd prefer the dr-xbase before a "standard"-- and imo there are not too many left..

es gibt wohl mehrere editions, auch eine von toktok - auch eine von dr.w.

also wer sich echt zum sammeln berufen findet, kann sich heftig austoben.
