My appologies. I know I'm off topic, but I wasn't sure where to turn to.

Got a Lexmark Z53. Not a bad printer, but the ink cartridge cost is killing me. I'm thinking about buy something new and I need advice.

My needs:

Everyday Basic Printing
Photographs
CD Liner Jackets
CD Labels

You know, basic recording studio stuff. What do you guys use?

That's how they make their money these days.
I'm using an Epson Stlus 740 and it's about $60 a month for ink cartriges. Thats just for routine label printing.

I'm looking at the Epson R800. Seems to do everything I need and it has individual in cartridges for each color.
