RJay, welcome to the forums! I remember the DMX-R100 mentioned in the George Massenburg & Roger Nichols forums. They are both archived at the bottom of the main list. You could try searching through them and see if you can find anything useful there.
I vaguely remember a thread from early last year where some members pseculated on the future of the Sony console. I use lower-end project gear. No personal experience with the larger consoles.
