hello all i am trying to get all the stuff i need for a home based recording and music making gig. i want to base it around my hp computer. i basically am trying to get off into the hip hop/rap beat making/production. i have done a little research but there is so much stuff out there i don't know what i products i need. my list consists of
1. software for recording vocals
2. software for actually making beats
3. software for mixing and mastering
4. microphones and all the accessories for a good mic setup.
5. peripherals for the computer that would allow easy and clean and proper input of microphone and whatever else i need.
6. anything i left out (I am new to this)

hey guys i'm really depending on you all for recommendations, do's and don'ts and where i can get this stuff. my budget right now is 5,000. thanks
