Hi I'm thinking of building a home studio in my garage/outhouse, I'm 17, about to go to uni to study commercial music and want to help pay for it with my own studio.

I'm looking to have near professional quality for as little money as possible.
I'm thinking about
http://www.smusic.co.uk/products/AAR020.shtml and
http://www.absolutemusicsolutions.c...diur80sonardr10
with
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI....7315043631&rd=1 and http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI....7315250805&rd=1 (which i already have)

I, at the moment, don't know a great deal about wot to look for so would great appreciate some freeback

Thanks

i don't know much about building the studio either, luckily most of my family can help out some way, dads an electrician, cousins a brick layer, uncles a plumber, don't think thtl be much use but who knows, and they all know people who can help. only problem is design and materials. i've heard the best way to soundproof is with 2,or more, layers of brick and/or pasterboard with insulation. my garage/outhouse is about 3.5 metres by about 4m, (approx, its at my new house,we're moving in at the end of may) i've made a plan of what i think would work, i don't kno much about it so it's probs terrible, i would greatly appreciate suggestions, critisisms, etc.

Thanks

Lee
