i just purchased reason 2.5 I started to install the software and when it get to disk 3, it just keeps asking me for disk 3 even though it is in the cd drive and i can access the files. any idea whats going on?

Question 1:

Are you using the real, actual CD's, bought and paid for with real money from the real company, or are you using hacked software you downloaded and burned onto disks?

If it's the prior, uninstall everything and try again. If it still doesn't work, take it back and get a new copy.

If it's the latter--uninstall it and pay for the real thing. You'll probably never get the imaged stuff to work properly.

If you're registered (and Propellerhead's policy is that if you're not registered, you don't get support), and you're in the U.S., you can call LIne 6 support (since we are the current distributors of Propellerhead products in the States) at 818-575-3600, and request replacement disks.
