My budget is about 350 dollar
My goals is to succesfully record
my own voice and other peoples voices.

MXL 990. I love it and it'll run you less than $90. It has a little presence added around 3-5K for shimmering bright vox. Although it has no roll-off or pad.

Not bad on guitar either.

I have two MXL 990's and they are great! Well worth the money. I got both of mine on eBay for about $70.00 each. I did a lot of research on mics prior to purchasing and I constantly heard the same thing about MXL 990's - great microphone and great price. Although roll-off and PAD are not features of this mic, these can be done externally.
