I've seen a lot of stuff on ebay.com. Yes, everyone is looking for the deal of a lifetime there and wants your stuff as long as they can pay about 10% of what it is actually worth.
Since you have a computer, or at least access to one, try searching for used equuipment brokers. They will take a percentage, however; they will probably get you more for your gear than you could get for it yourself.
On the otherhand, you could contact all of the possible places that use that particular piece of equipment and try contacting them your self to see if they have a need for another system.
