OK... I know I need to go read a book... But I glanced at a few in Barnes and Nobles and was lost.
1. Can anyone recomend me a great and EASY to understand book on things like:
Explain to me the difference between Royalties and Publishing. Mechanicals...
The basics I guess.
Ive been asking people for a while and always get different answers.
I make electronic music and actually have a publishing deal (I know flame me for not knowing more)... they did give me a HUGE advance and also I have a lawyer and manager who help (very cheaply I must add)...
But yeah I REALLY need to learn this stuff.
I recently insured my music studio, paid my taxes, got a route canal and lost 10 pounds... THIS IS NEXT.
Thanks SO MUCH for any input, descriptions of these things, leads onto the best books for learning this.
