Years ago, a company named Advanced Concepts Technologies made "templates" for various mixers, which gave an easy way of marking knob/slider settings for later reference. They were sold under the name Mix-Mates, and were usually in a tablet of 25 or 50 sheets. I think that I saw their ad in EQ, although it could have been in RE/P before my subscription rolled into EQ.

I can't locate the company now. Have you any idea if anyone is making/marketing such an item these days? If so, a URL or phone # would be appreciated.
