ok...here we go...

most appropriate mixdown format for the "typical" rock setup (by todays standards...vertical horizon, etc...)
The project is recorded on a MIDAS board with ADAT 20bit recorders.

1/2"-1" analog tape? (BASF, etc...)
dat?
cdr?

I'm just looking for real world opinions...

New wave? punk? grunge? Metal? Classic? Folk rock? they're all "new"
Why don't you mix down to all your choices and then decide which one ics the coolest or baaddest? good luck!!

You have to listen to your formats, test and compare....but to my ear, 1/2" analogue still rocks my world the best out of all.
