I had a friend ask me if he could use surround encoding to store 3 stereo mixes. At first I said yes because it is 6 discreet channels but that's when I thought he was doing a surround mix, now that I know he wants 3 stereo mixes and is using it for storage purposes, I think the answer is no, because if you put the left side a stereo pair in the .1 channel and the right side in the center, the left side would be all sub bass freq. after the encoding was completed. Could anyone verify this for me?
