but WHO are you??? i dont mean to be rude but i know who craig, roger, gm, ed and al are, but i know nothing or have heard nothing about you. could you please post a brief background so i dont feel so dumb. maybe something that i would know of.

Whoa!!
Before you embarrass yourself any more, Chris Stone is one of the true pioneers of the recording Studio, opening the Record Plant in..., well, a long time ago. He now heads the World Studio Group, and writes a column for Pro Sound News on Studio Business, as well as having authored books on the Studio/Recording business.
And, I am sucking up to him, so if his publicist gets fired, he will consider me.

hmmm. no wonder i havent heard of him, im not into studios as a business. in fact i am NOT a business person, i work with the OTHER half of my brain when it actually functions.
