Help me.. I bought an dual processor motherboard and a problem is that itīs only win2000 that supports dual processors.. Ok, so far so good. But when it finds the EWS88mt and asks for the drivers it says that the don't match. Don't think I havenīt downloaded the right drivers, belive me I have. A called up the manufacture and they said that I should turn off the ACPI. Can anybody tell med how to turn off the ACPI in Win2000. Have anybody heard off this problem before... Help me, I'm getting furious. Is there other systems that supports dual processors and cubase 5. I need all the answers I can get.. Regards Bl@ze
I haven't used this card before, but if it requires that you disable ACPI in Windows then you will be loosing dual processor functionality. http://www.prorec.com has a new article that covers some of this Windows 2000 ACPI biz that you might take a look at. For dual processor work in Win 2k, RME seems to be the best bet at the momement.
