Have anyone got any idea for, Which Dolby (SRD and DD) Encoder & Decoder is used for film mixing? I have consulted the Dolby Website but they just mentioned the Pro version (not suitable for film mixing).
Is there any second hand for this unit? How much does it cost (for both new and used unit)?
Many thanks.

Bokir,
Dolby's encoder for film, the DS-10, is not available to the general public and also not on the web page. In fact, it's not for sale to anyone. It is leased to the movie studio producing the movie on a title by title basis. Also, Dolby Digital for movie theaters is a different, although similar, algorithm than for theaters. For instance, metadata is not needed for theatrical presentation, since there are clearer standards in presentation.
