After about 2 months of working in my new studio, I've come to the conclusion that I could never live without a PC based setup again and I HATE the way it makes me work. Example:

I have a Yamaha 02r, Soundscape Mixtreme and Cakewalk 9. The system works great, sounds great and does what it's supposed to do. BUT it is anything but intuitive. There's a hardware mixer, the Mixtreme's mixer and Cakewalk's mixer. Ugh!

My point is, there has got to be a better way of doing this. A better interface, a more integrated approach, if you will. Of course it needs a control surface that is really usable. I've seen the Event EzBus webpage, which could be on the right track, but it doesn't actually tell you much.

Any thoughts. Investors
