Hi all,

Just wondering if people had particular styles of music they have used Rocket Network to collaborate on, and how well you found it worked. I actually worked on a TV jingle once and found it a good way to work. Any other 'outside the square' examples?

using rocket for rap is cool whyhateus - how did you do it - what was the creative process you used?

I think any style that can be broken down into modular components works well. One of the things I find is that when working in Rocket, I tend to focus on making distinctive, self contained parts that can be cut and pasted easily -- or even shared in more than one piece of music.

I agree - I also love dropping some weird vocal fx into a nearly finished track on rocket - it can take the session a whole new direction

Let's hear it for weird vocal FX!
BTW how did you do that!? your voice-nice mic/pre?
I get so involved when I'm on rocket, I forget to point folks to this forum. I usualy check in several times a day from work (no studio there - yet). I can't wait to see which sessions have been updated and whos online to jam with. Oh yea... styles to collaborate on? Any and All!
Let's see this forum grow along with our big brothers!
Cheers!

Hi Nursers!
I was curious about your setup for the vocals on night groove...
There's still more room for vocals on that if you're so inclined.
Cheers!

Hiya! From memory, the vocals I posted on night groove were from a sample cd (royalty-free).

Would love to take credit for em but they weren't me
