How on earth do you tune a twelve string guitar...?
I have an electronic tuner and a six string that i have never had any problems with, however i am completely baffled by the 12 string...!
Please help.....!

Tune your high e strings the same. Tune your b strings the same. Tune the low g like you do your 6 string. Now tune the 2nd g an octive higher than the low g. Tune the low d like your 6 string, and the 2nd d an octive higher. Just follow this routine and soon you'll be playing your 12 string.

Sometimes Gibson tunes the Gs the same......

Many also tune one whole tone/step down, DGCFAD to reduce stress on the neck - I did this for many years & used a capo.

Strings are probably more reliable now.

I always tune the strings that are the same as a six string first, and then go back and tune the octaves, second strings. That way you keep the tension more evenly spaced over the neck and the tuning becomes stable more quickly
