Has anyone recently purchased or tested any software synths ? I hear they are qetting quite good and was looking to shrink down my stack of sound modules and build out a laptop to create a portable midi sound option. The use case is sequence playback during band rehearsals.
You may want to look at what Native Instrument has to offer,I use Absynth2 or 3 ,B4,just to name a few.They work great and have a vast sound file.Good luck,Bob You'll need an Audio Interface to run the sound off the laptop
