Alright guys, I'm setting up a PA very soon, and the only thing I'm not sure about is where like the effects (such as delay and reverb) fit into it. I've got an amp with that stuff on it, and I'm just not completely sure where that fits in. This is my first time actually setting up a PA, so if anyone could help me out with that (or has any other advice for me) that would be great. Thanks in advance!

Okay Assuming this system is not just for one instrument. Reverb can actually make some vocals and instruments ( Not Drums) sound better. Is mainly
used on vocals. Delay is used when you are getting frequency cancellation because the speakers are not aligned. Note : -- When setting up your system just make sure all wires are connected correctly.

Feritas,

Are you asking how the effects get wired in, or how/when they should be used? Your question is a little confusing.

If it's a wiring question:
* Give us a brief but total list of the equipment that you're going to use.. front to back.
* Is it for indoor or outdoor events.
* List of instruments and vocalists.

If it's a usage question, that's a different question entirely.

Without a clear question or the basics, it's impossible to be of much help. The last post on this topic covered a basic setup. If yours is different, spell it out. By the way, reverbs are found in, or wired into the mixer, not the power amp.

Hey, ended up getting it working. Sorry for not making my question clear enough, I'll be sure to work on that in the future. But I did end up getting it set up and the show ran great.
