Hey, i'm new to Midi keyboards so i don't really know much but i was wondering how one would connect a evolution mk-449c to an amplifier? the connections look like this: http://www.evolution.co.uk/products/images/kyb_mk449c_back.jpg

I would appreciate any help if anyone knows. Thanks

As this is a controller keyboard, you would just hook the MIDI out or the USB jack to a sound source (another keyboard, module, computer, etc). The MK-449c does not have internal sounds, so hooking it to an amplifier is moot. Hope this answers your question.

BTW, welcome aboard. There is a great wealth of info here in all of the forums. Also feel free to visit the Keyboard Forum for tons of info leaning towards keys players.

Yeah, it'd either have to go through a Sound Module, like a Roland SD-20 or Korg Trinity Rack (that's how I use my Evolution MK-249C) or through a PC/Mac via USB.
